I have learned that sometimes God removes people from your life for a reason. If you have come to this post, I can almost guess that you are trying to figure out if God is trying to remove someone from your life, or if you should continue to try to hang on to the person in question. Because after all, it is human nature for us to try to hang on to someone that we love and that we care about. God can be sending us every single sign in the entire world that he is trying to remove this person from our life, but we still try to hang on to that person. Now, why is that?
Why God Removes People From Your Life
God removes people from your life because He listens to conversations you can’t. He sees the things you can’t. He knows your bitter future with that thing or person. He wants to protect you. Whether we are Muslims, Jews or Christians, we believe in the same GOD, besides other religious concepts. So, we should always forgive people and that is what God tells us to do. But you also have to understand that forgiveness does not mean reconciliation. Read more on it below.
Why You Shouldn’t Just Forgive and Forget
Doesn’t matter what religion you have; it will make sense to you that you don’t have to keep giving people chances after they mess up. Yes, you should forgive them, but you don’t have to let them back into your life and personal space. Because you can’t just ignore the experiences. It is not humanly possible.
Consider the people in your life that God is Removing
Oftentimes, there are red flags before God removes someone from our lives. Some red flags include:
- When you are put in a situation and you have to depend on that person and they let you down
- They disrespect you
- They cheat on you
- They pretend to be your friend but are really wolves in sheep’s clothing
- Whenever you try to “make up”, something bad always happens or you find out something bad about the person
If you have been in a relationship or friendship in which someone has let you down repeatedly, it might be someone that God wants you to stop dealing with. Read the blog 20 messages from ‘The Holy Book’ for your mental health.
When God Removes People From Your Life – Case In Point
I have a case study of a single mother, in this case. Let’s read her, in her own words.
‘I tried to give my son’s father chance after chance even though he treated me badly. Soon after my son was born, he was locked up (red flag #1), soon after that I found out he was still legally married (red flag #2), and soon after that, I found out he had a girlfriend (red flag #3), and after still trying to give him a chance he started to disrespect me and my son (red flag #4). The crazy thing is that there were so many red flags about this situation, but I just refused to see them. And, time and time again the red flags kept popping up until he was removed from my life. A huge sign that God is removing someone from your life is that the relationship between you two will get worse and worse, and NOT BETTER. That’s because God knows it will get so bad for you that you will cut it off yourself. And sometimes God just removes the person from you if you can’t seem to do it on your own.’
When God removes people from your life, be glad, and not mad
It’s hard to see someone you care about being ripped out of your life, but try to be grateful for the situation. It may be difficult, but it’s for the best. The person may have needed to go through a transformation that has nothing to do with you. Let them go and move on with your life.
Believer not stung twice out of same hole
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Lat Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said,
“A believer is not stung twice (by something) out of one and the same hole.”
Sahih al-Bukhari 6133 Book 78, Hadith 160
.
Why do some people keep coming back into our lives and doing us wrong, even after God has removed them?
If you’re wondering why someone keeps coming back into your life and doing you wrong, it’s because you’re allowing it. God removes people from your life, but you still have free will. Don’t blame them and don’t blame God, blame yourself. Because at some point, when there are clear signs that you need to get rid of this person, and you keep bringing them back into your life, it’s your fault.
You have to wonder, what’s wrong with you that you tolerate being abused by someone else? You see the red flags. God is tearing them from your life. But if you want to be someone’s fool, despite all the clear signs around you, that’s your right as a human being. But, because you keep hanging on, you’ll keep having the same problem.
Sometimes we have to let go, and when we get to a point where we can truly let go, that’s when healing begins. But when you choose to hang on to someone, you’re just actively keeping yourself in a state of sadness, depression, and even anger over the situation not going how you want it to go. When really, it’s your own fault because you won’t let go.
Remember that God removes people from your life for a reason. If there’s any confusion on if it’s God or not, remember this: “God never removes someone good for you. He only removes people who are holding you back.” God will keep people in your life to help you and remove people from your life if they’re holding you back. That’s always the ultimate test if that person needs to be in your life or not.
Religion is the Best Healer; The Word of God Will Break it Down for You
Religion is the best healer for a human. Have a communication line with God. It’s how we can talk to God, and how He can talk back to us. It’s surprising to me how many religious people are unaware that they can speak to God, and that God actually speaks back. If you read the Holy Quran and offer your prayers regularly, you can feel and experience it yourself. I didn’t realize that this little, quiet, still voice inside my head that was talking to me was my soul given to me by God until I really started to read the Holy Quran and learn the Word for myself. It blew my mind.
In any case, I’ve told you the concept of God in a nutshell, but I want to go deeper than that. I feel that you can only begin to understand its purpose in your life and how to activate it when you have a full understanding and grasp of the Word and Commandment of God; the Holy Quran.
